A 17-year old boy has been arrested by gardaí investigating the murder of Cameron Blair in Cork.

The 20-year-old died after he was stabbed on the Bandon Road in Cork last Thursday night.

The Cork Institute of Technology student was from Ballinascarthy in west Cork.

Mr Blair’s death is the subject of a murder investigation.

His funeral service will take place at St Peter’s Church in Bandon at 2pm on Sunday afternoon.

Mr Blair will be buried afterwards at the nearby Kilbeg Cemetery.

He is survived by his parents, Kathy and Noel, by his brother, Alan.
