Digital terrestrial: change of numbering in an Italian region, here are the news

After yesterday’s digital terrestrial news, let’s go back to talking about some changes introduced in an Italian reason today, where we report a numbering change for a channel.

There region is Lombardy, while the mux is Telestar. The channel concerned, on the other hand, is TelePavia, a duplicate of MilanoPavia TV which can now be tuned to LCN 857. Until yesterday, the channel occupied position 691, but for some unknown reason has now been moved by the operators.

TelePavia is basically a duplicate of Milano Pavia TV, which it transmits to the LCN 89 and which, contrary to what happens for TelePavia, has not reported any changes to the numbering level and is regularly available at the same position.

As always, to fully engage these innovations it is necessary to tune your decoder or television. The old LCN 691 of the same mux is now unused and can be used to insert some other channel in case of conflict.

The next few months will be very busy from the digital terrestrial front, as the switch off to DVB-T2 is now in the start-up phase, which will start next September 1st 2021 with some areas of our country. For all the details, please refer to the dedicated guide.
