The phenomenon of the moment in terms of social networks is definitely Clubhouse, the exclusive service in which only the voice is used. It is therefore normal that someone wants to “get their hands” on this new business opportunity.
In particular, according to what was reported by The Verge and Engadget (the original source is the New York Times), Mark Zuckerberg and associates would have analyzed the situation and decided to start work on creating a similar service to the aforementioned social network, which in this period is making itself particularly talked about. Think that even Zuckerberg himself, CEO of Facebook, participated in a talk show on the platform. This is not to mention the high interest generated by the arrival of Elon Musk on Clubhouse.
In short, Facebook seems to have sniffed the possibility of doing business and would be giving life to a sort of Clubhouse competitor. In any case, according to the rumors leaked so far, the project by Zuckerberg and associates it would still be in the early stages of development, so it’s not clear when it might actually be launched. It is also not known whether the intention is to create a feature to be included on Facebook or Instagram or if you want to point to a new social network.
There is currently nothing official, but we’ll see. What is certain is that Clubhouse’s success is not going unnoticed, so much so that apparently other companies, such as Twitter, also seem to be intent on this business.
