Honor View40 was presented at the end of January thus launching the post-Huawei era with a high-end product, but for the moment it is only available in China. The reason was already hovering in the air and it would seem to have been confirmed: the company, now that it is independent, was working for regain Google Mobile Services.
According to what Mydrivers reported, in fact, the global version of Honor V40 it will be equipped with the services and applications of the Mountain View giant thanks to the now highly probable achievement of commercial agreements between the two parties.
In fact, other previous rumors gave Honor CEO George Zhao already in contact with Google to bring GMS back to the next smartphones coming to market. The reason is very simple: reconfirm the brand also in the West after the split from the other Chinese giant. Other famous brands that Honor has contacted also include AMD, Intel, Qualcomm, SK Hynix and Sony to secure the best components for their devices, from smartphones to laptops.
We already find an example in the latest Honor MagicBook Pro with tenth generation Intel Core processor, presented on February 12, 2021. In short, the Asian brand intends to focus really strongly on products of all kinds to satisfy consumers, creating a new high-level ecosystem. Will it be a successful plan? Only time will tell.
