Today is Nowruz, the Persian New Year festivities
The new stickers are already available from today and can be used in Instagram Stories. To create them, the social network has reached an agreement with the well-known illustrator Mariam Tafsiri, of British-Iranian origin, who has created three images inspired by the Persian New Year celebrations that take place these days.
The illustrations Tafsiri has created are inspired by Qajar art, which is characterized by its small designs and depicts everyday scenes and objects from Persian and Islamic culture.
Tafsiri is popular for his creations and his advocacy of women through his illustrations. The three stickers he has created for Instagram are available from today for all users of the social network who use it in Persian, and also for any other user anywhere in the world who wishes to use them.
To use them, all you have to do is upload a video or photograph to the Stories in the usual way and, before publishing, click on the Stories icon. You will not even need to search for them, since today they are highlighted and are the first three that appear.
Instagram will allow the use of these new stickers during the next few days, in which the Persian New Year celebrations will take place. It is common for the social network to launch specific stickers for the celebration of large local festivities in some territories, although this time the curious thing is that the creatives will be available worldwide.
