Smart vacuum cleaners have become a true ally of cleaning our homes because they have not only automated a task that can take hours (depending on how big our house is), but also it is possible to do all that work when we leave and the little robot has all the floor to himself. Without anything or anyone bothering you.
And within that category, if there is a company that is setting the way forward, it is iRobot, with its Roomba models that have managed to become popular to the point of naming the segment itself of products it represents. As it is, and on the occasion of the celebration (virtual) at CES 2021 in La Vegas, have announced the arrival of a new model, the i3 +.
Smarter and with emptying system
This new Roomba i3 + is similar to the i7 + and s9 + models so comes standard equipped with a self-draining system, a Clean Base that allows the vacuum cleaner to drop everything it has collected automatically to face your next trip with the tank completely clean. This process can take it uninterruptedly for two months without the user having to worry about its storage, which is carried out inside a hermetically sealed bag designed with four layers of materials capable of trapping up to 99% of pollen allergens and mold.
This new Roomba i3 + gets the job done thanks to a straight line cleaning system that makes it easy for you to come and go through different rooms without any problem. In addition, in the event that it runs out of power in the middle of a journey, the robot will return to its charging base and, when its battery is 100% refilled, it will return to the same point where it left it during the cleaning program in March.
This new Roomba is capable of cleaning thanks to its three-phase system with two multi-surface rubber brushes that work in a synchronized way, and that make it easy for the device to reach corners and edges of all kinds. In addition, its suction power is much higher than that of previous models (such as the 600 series), which gives it up to ten times more capacity to collect everything that falls on the ground quickly and quietly.
As in the case of other iRobot models, the device is able to learn from the user’s routine, calculating the times when you are not at home, what are the best times to start work and it is even possible to schedule it and start an express cleaning remotely thanks to the Google assistant. If you are interested, you have it already available in Spain at a price of 699 euros with the self-draining station (Clean Base), or 449 without it.
