Mayor of South Dublin County Council, Councillor Vicky Casserly officially opens the Playspace at Glendown Park, Templeogue.

On Thursday 12 of September the Mayor of South Dublin County Council, Councillor Vicky Casserly officially opened the Playspace at Glendown Park; which has been delivered as part of South Dublin County Council’s Playspace programme.

Speaking at the event Mayor of South Dublin County Council Cllr Vicky Casserly said;

“Playspaces contribute to better physical and mental health for children and have also taken on a significance in terms of becoming focal points and meeting places for local communities. In Glendown it is wonderful to see so many groups of young people using the equipment before and after school and at weekends; and seeing the social interaction of parents, grandparents and groups of neighbours.”
