A few hours after the Consap portal went online to submit requests for rectification of non-refunds, PagoPa has started the payment of cashbacks accrued during the test period last December.
According to what was reported by the Republic, in fact, the Government would already have issued one million and 750 thousand payment orders by bank transfer, for a total amount of 121 million euros. By February 28, 2021, all those who took part in the program, and who have completed at least 10 transactions between December 8 and December 31, 2020, will receive cashback on the IBAN indicated through the Io app of the Public Administration.
However, the credit transfers are proceeding at a fairly rapid pace, and within four days the total ceiling has already been covered: in the face of 223 million euros accrued with Christmas shopping, in fact, the Italian State has already exceeded 121 million euros. Therefore, over the next few days, you too could receive the Christmas cashback in your checking account.
Meanwhile, always reports Repubblica, the Ministry of Finance has increased the pressure on the so-called “cashback cunning” which in recent times have caused a lot of discussion and have also been the subject of protests by traders.
