The  crisis has taken everyone by surprise, forcing companies to cancel events, launches, premieres and everything. But if there is a company that, traditionally, has used March as a good time to show and put its products on sale, that has been Apple, which all the quarantines and country closings must have gotten out of hand in recent times.

Be that as it may, what seemed clear is that this month we should have seen new devices: the iPhone 9 (and 9 Plus), the next generation of iPad Pro and a couple more tablets from its main ranges, iPad (Air) and iPad Mini. However, Are those from Cupertino still wanting to launch all their products on these dates Or will they do it when the whole crisis is over?

New iPad with iOS 13

Well as the days go by and we try to get out of doubt, just appeared by the Eurasian Economic Commission what looks like a new iPad that attends to the model number A2229 and that, as you can see in the image below, has an iPadOS 13 installation inside.

With this on the table, the possibilities that open up are varied. The first thing is that, can we rule out that it is one of the new “Pro” models? If it were so, we only have two alternatives: that we are facing a review of the iPad (Air) that arrived last year, and that it would be the fourth generation, or that Apple wants to renew its smaller range again, the one that has 7.9-inch screens.

Say that it is a new iPad (Air) the same those from Cupertino have been forced to revamp the hardware since the 2019 model arrived with the odd little problem in its new 10.5-inch screen. We recently informed you of an official panel replacement program that did not come out as the Cupertino ones expected, and that reached the hands of users with flickeo problems and blank screens.

If it is a new iPad Mini (the sixth generation), it would not be understood such a rush after an extraordinarily powerful and versatile model, compatible with the first generation Apple Pencil and that brought so much joy to a range in 2019 that was three years without one single novelty. So with all of the above on the table, what new iPad could it be? Let’s hope Apple says something in the next few weeks.
