Once again, Microsoft is pushing the finish line in front of itself and is updating the upcoming Windows 10 21H1 with a mini update before its release.
Just last week Microsoft drew attention to itself with a lavish beta update for Windows 10 21H1 : Version 19043.899 solved more than 50 remaining problems. Now, with build 19043.906, another preview version follows, which only fixes one flaw, namely printing problems. If you have not yet installed 19043.899, you will receive its changes with the current improvement as a cumulative update in one fell swoop. Bugfix testers for Windows versions 2004 and 20H2 can also benefit from the latest bug fixes – as version 19041.906 and 19042.906, respectively.
Printing without complaints
The now resolved printing problems have occurred since an update on March 9, 2021 and affect Windows 10 2004 from last spring, the current Windows 10 20H2 and the preview versions to 21H1. Microsoft describes the problem as “failure to print the graphic content of a document” and delivered an extraordinary hotfix a week ago. Now the group has made further improvements. After the usual beta tests, regular users of the three Windows 10 versions mentioned should get the update on the next patch day, that is on April 6th.
